Daily Devotion: Strength in Him
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. (Ephesians 6:10)
As men, we often find ourselves facing challenges that test our resolve and shake our confidence. In a world that constantly demands strength, it is easy to feel overwhelmed and inadequate. Yet, in Ephesians 6:10, we are reminded of an essential truth: our strength does not come from ourselves, but from the Lord.
When Paul urges us to be strong in the Lord, he is calling us to shift our focus from our limitations to God’s limitless power. The strength of His might is available to us in every situation—be it in our work, our relationships, or our struggles. This is not a call to muster up our own courage or to rely on our own abilities. Rather, it is an invitation to lean into the mighty power of God, who equips us to face whatever lies ahead.
In moments of doubt, remind yourself that the God who created the universe is on your side. He is your fortress and your refuge. When you feel weak, remember that His strength is made perfect in your weakness. Turn to Him in prayer, seeking His guidance and support.
Today, take a bold step in faith. Trust in the Lord to empower you to overcome obstacles and to fulfill your purpose. Stand firm, knowing that you are not alone; you are strengthened by the might of the Almighty. Let His strength flow through you, and you will become a beacon of hope and courage to those around you.
